Shipping & Delivery Policy

Processing Time 
All in-stock items are ready to go! We typically process orders within one business day and ship by the next.

📦 Lower 48 States
We primarily ship via USPS. If you have a strong preference for a different carrier, message us before ordering, and we may able to accommodate your preference (you may incur additional shipping costs and processing time).

🌲 Alaska, Hawaii & International
Shipping to these zones is new to us and feels a tad intimidating at the moment. However, we are happy to figure it out if you have flexibility with your timeline. Please message us at hello@makeitslowpnw.com before ordering so we can calculate costs and activate your zone.
Note: For international orders, please remember that any customs duties, taxes, or import fees are the responsibility of the recipient.

🚘 Local Delivery (Lynnwood, WA & surrounding areas) If you are within our delivery radius, this option will appear at checkout.

• How it works: Bri (or occasionally Tyler) will personally deliver your order, usually the next day. While timing depends on our schedule and distance, we are happy to work with you to accommodate deadlines for last-minute gifts.
  
  
• Safety & Access: Please ensure the path to your door is clear of hazards and animals. If we encounter an issue upon arrival, we will attempt to contact you before leaving. If we are unable to confirm an agreeable local delivery option within one-week of the original delivery attempt, we will ship using our standard shipping carrier and standard shipping rate. 
  
  
• Packaging: Local Delivery Orders are usually in craft gift-bags. If this purchase is a surprise for someone in your household, let us know so we can package it  more discreetly to avoid spoiling the surprise.

🚇 Extended Delivery Zone 

• Light Rail: Living along the 1-line into Seattle? Message us before placing the order; we can often offer timings to meet you at a station.
  

🛍️ Local Pickup (Free) We don't have a brick&mortar storefront yet, but we are happy to meet you for a quick pickup! This is a free option for those who prefer to skip shipping.

• Where: To keep things simple and safe, please select one of our designated public meeting spots:
  • Alderwood Mall
  • Lynnwood Transit Center - for our commuter friends 
  • USPS (by the Lynnwood Convention Center) parking lot
    
    
• How to Order: Select "Local Delivery" at checkout, in the 'Delivery Instructions' list your preferred location and a couple date and time options and place the order.
  • When we process the order we will reach out to confirm the date, time, and location. Once confirmed, we will adjust the order to reflect the free shipping before we fulfill the order and charge your card. 
  • If we are unable to confirm an agreeable local pickup date, time, and location within one-week of the purchase, we will ship using our standard shipping carrier and standard shipping rate. 

💜 If You Know Us In Real Life
First of all, Hi friend! 
If you are someone who we are routinely within arms-reach of each other and you want to get your order at the next time we see each other, then: 

• select the Local Delivery option and indicate you want to do a meetup (or reference our next scheduled plans).
• If you are out of the local delivery zone and do not see that option, message us before finalizing your order so we can make it happen.

This option may be slower than standard shipping, but we'd love the excuse to see you. 

A Note on Changes
We're still figuring this all out!
Please reach out to hello@makeitslowpnw.com before placing an order if you have any questions or special circumstances and we can guide you how best to setup the order. Once an order is placed, we cannot modify shipping method that was selected and we may need to cancel and recreate the order to accommodate changes.
