Known for her imaginative style, bold color pairings, and whimsical illustrations, Mary Blair was one of Walt Disney’s most beloved concept artists in the 1940s–60s. Beyond Disney, she built a prolific career as an illustrator, creating designs that remain iconic today.

Originally designed for the American Artists Group greeting card company in the mid 1950s, this charming horizontal illustration depicts a cozy bundled couple in the carriage of a stylized sleigh being pulled past a quaint church building by pink and red reindeer with similarly amorous expressions. Snowy foliage decorates the pre-printed background.

Whether you’re a Mary Blair fan, a Disney art collector, or simply looking for a joyful DIY art kit, Mary’s Parasols brings a piece of design history into your home.

When complete, frame your finished artwork for unique mid‑century modern wall art or a meaningful gift.
