This design is from the archive of Mary Blair, an illustrator known for her whimsical illustrations, bold colors, and unmistakable style whose designs remain iconic today.

Originally designed for the American Artists Group greeting card company in the mid 1950s, this charming horizontal illustration depicts a cozy bundled couple in the carriage of a stylized sleigh being pulled past a quaint church building by pink and red reindeer with similarly amorous expressions. Snowy foliage decorates the pre-printed background.
